Augustus is a Havanese. He is almost 7 years old. He was surrendered to the rescue because he is a retired breeding dog. He is very sweet but anxious and shy. He does like pets he’s just nervous being out of his comfort zone as you can tell from the pictures but shouldn’t take too long to warm up. He does well with other dogs, but like most dogs would love the spot light on only him so he can get all the love to himself. He had significant dental disease but has since had a dental done, he also had “mild ceruminous discharge” in his ears which just means his ears were dirty at the time of his vet check but they have since been cleaned. He has no other known health issues. Augustus is up to date on all of his shots, has been neutered, and is microchipped. He is good for allergies as he’s a non shedding dog but will need combed out regularly and taken to the groomers. He is not house trained and will need all training.
