Jazzy is a Havanese, she is a very silly dog with such a sweet side of love to her, definite candidate for a lap warmer. She was surrendered to us because she couldn’t be sold by the breeder because of her small size. Jazzy does have grade 1 luxating patella on her right knee. Grade 1 is the mildest form. All this means is that her kneecap slips out of place but also goes back into place on its own. This is painless for her. To keep the luxating patella painless she should be kept at a healthy weight with regular low impact exercise. Joint supplements like glucosamine and chondroitin could also help. This should remain to be a non issue for her unless it gets worse. But check with your vet for the best course of treatment for Jazzy. If your looking for a dog that will make you laugh, Jazzy is the dog for you. She loves to play and makes the funniest faces. She is very friendly and does really well with other dogs, she wouldn’t mind being the only dog and getting all the love though. Jazzy is up to date on all her shots, on heart guard, and she is microchipped. She has also already been spayed and had a dental done. She is not house broken and would need all training.
