Mission Statement

For U 2 Love Canine Rescue is an Ohio not for profit corporation and recognized as a 501 (C) (3) rescue. All donations are tax deductible. It is our goal to provide the best possible care, housing, socialization and to provide the medical needs of the dogs and puppies that are entrusted to us. We believe that all dogs and puppies deserve a forever home which is why we ask that you educate yourself about the dog or puppy that you are considering. There are many good-hearted people with good intentions that want to adopt a rescue dog but that may not be the best choice for you, your family and the dog. We are here to help you with that process and will be honest about the fit for your family.

Adoption Policy

Adopting a dog or puppy from For U 2 Love Canine Rescue will require you to communicate to us honestly about your family and your needs, we, likewise, will do our best to be honest about the dogs and puppies that we have available. It is our goal to make sure that the dog and your family are a good match. The first step for you will be to completely fill out our adoption application and submit that to us for consideration. References may be checked if needed. We operate by appointment only; we do not have regular business hours. Once you are approved, we will reach out to you to set up a meet with your family and our dog or puppy. At the time of adoption there will be an adoption agreement for you to sign. Our adoption fee is the same for all dogs and is $400.00, this goes to help those whose medical or surgical needs exceed the adoption fee and a mandatory $45.00 charge to register the microchip with AKC Canine Partners will be due at that time.

ADOPTION APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog or puppy from For U 2 Love Canine Rescue. It is our goal to fit the right dog to the right family and make each person who adopts aware of the responsibilities of pet ownership from a rescue. You will be held responsible for the responsibilities morally, physically and financially of this dog or puppy.

By completing our application you will aid us in determining if you and your family are indeed ready for the pet adoption process, and if the dog of your interest would suit you and your families lifestyle. We will check references from your Vet and Groomer or personal references, once you are approved you will need to reach out to these individuals to release your permission for them to speak openly to a representative from For U 2 Love Canine Rescue. Most Veterinary Clinics require client authorization before they will release information.
