Tiana is a purebred Maltese, she was surrendered to the rescue as a retired breeding dog. She is a sweet dog but she is very shy and very reserved. She does not like to be out of her comfort zone, I had to take her pictures in a smaller kennel instead of outside so that she could have a bit of normalcy for her pictures. She would do good with someone who is patient, and willing to let her grow out of her comfort zone. She may settle in faster with a multidog household but it is not necessary, she would do fine in a single dog household it just may take a bit longer for her to warm up. She had moderate calculus but has since had a dental done. She is up to date on all of her shots, has been spayed and is microchipped. She would be good for someone with allergies to dogs and she is Hypoallergenic and a non shedding dog. However she will need combed out regularly and taken to the groomers. She is not house trained and will need all training. If you are interested in adopting Tiana please fill out our adoption application!
